Free Business Start Up Help

The South East Midlands Start-up Programme (SEMSUP), funded by the European Regional Development Fund, gives residents of Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire, Luton, Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire free access to 12 hours of support for new business owners

This programme gives you access to 12 hours of free business support to help you start your own business.

Choose which free support you would like (or have a blend of them all!):

• One-to-one business advice
• Webinars and workshops
• Access to business start-up services
• Business incubation workspace
• Specialist social enterprise support

Grants

If you are starting a business and registered with 'The South East Midlands Start-up Programme', you could be eligible for a 'match-funded' business start-up grant ranging from £500 to £3000* to help you get things set up.

This grant can be used towards any start-up or development costs which can be attributed to your new business such as:

• Marketing and promotional support
• Website development
• Professional/legal advice
• Financial planning/advice
• Intellectual property advice (trademarks, patents, design registration, copyright etc)
• Software applications (CRM software, financial software etc)
