Cash drawers
Quick setup and fault-finding checklist.

Quick checks
Check the drawer cable is fully seated in the printer or till cash port.
Power-cycle the printer/till, then run a cash-drawer test from TillTech POS.
Confirm the printer has paper, is online, and is set as the default in POS.
Inspect for bent pins on the cash-drawer connector before reseating.
Notes & variations
Legacy drawers shipped with RJ11 kick cables; newer models may use USB or dedicated ports.
If the drawer opens on every print, disable 'open drawer on receipt' in your printer driver.
For stuck drawers, use the manual release under the front lip and log a support ticket.
