Install TeamViewer

Steps to install and share your session details.

Follow these steps to install TeamViewer and prepare for a support session.

  1. Go to https://www.teamviewer.com/en/.
  2. Click Download for Free (auto-detects your OS).
  3. When prompted by your browser, click Save.
  4. Open your Downloads folder and double-click TeamViewer_Setup.exe.
  5. Accept any Windows prompts that appear.
  6. Choose Personal Use when asked.
  7. Launch TeamViewer after installation finishes.
  8. Share the displayed Your ID and Password with the support agent when requested.

Keep TeamViewer open and provide your ID and password when the support agent joins.
