Transfer a domain from Namecheap

Unlock, disable privacy, and share the auth code or request the .uk IPS tag change.

Steps

  1. Sign in to Namecheap and open the domain you want to move to TillTech management.
  2. Unlock the domain (Turn off Registrar Lock).
  3. Disable WhoisGuard/Privacy so the gaining registrar can verify ownership.
  4. For .com/.net/etc: request the EPP/Auth code and email it to support@till.tech so we can initiate the transfer.
  5. For .uk domains: open a support chat/ticket with Namecheap and ask to change the IPS tag to NAMECHEAP-INC (our managed registrar tag) or share the tag we provide if we are using a different registrar for you.
  6. Tell us once these steps are done so we can accept the transfer and align DNS (NS1.ENGD.COM / NS2.ENGD.COM if required).

Notes

  • Domains within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer cannot be moved until the lock lifts.
  • Keep registrant email accurate to receive approval emails.
  • If you only need us to host DNS/website, you can instead update nameservers to NS1.ENGD.COM and NS2.ENGD.COM without transferring the registrar.
