Transfer a .co.uk from 123 Reg

Set the IPS tag to NAMECHEAP-INC so we can complete the transfer.

Steps

  1. Log in to your 123 Reg control panel and open the .co.uk domain.
  2. Disable any transfer lock or domain protection if enabled.
  3. Go to Advanced domain settings → Transfer away → Change IPS tag.
  4. Enter the new IPS tag: NAMECHEAP-INC, then confirm the change.
  5. Email support@till.tech once submitted so we can accept the transfer and prepare DNS.

Notes

  • The IPS tag replaces an EPP/auth code for .uk domains.
  • Ensure registrant contact details are correct so Nominet notifications reach you.
  • Keep the current nameservers until we confirm the transfer, then we can move to NS1.ENGD.COM / NS2.ENGD.COM if needed.
